Kid Summer Toys

SUMMER! I just love Summer. There is just so much to do! I also grew up in Texas, so I’m sure that has something to do with it. Summer all. year. long. basically.

Also, having the right supplies helps greatly! Here are the best kid Summer toys for this year!

Bubble Wand

Not just any bubble wand, but a bubble wand that makes ginormous bubbles! And yes, it really works!

Butterfly Kit

These are all a craze lately. You can get caterpillars and watch them turn into butterflies! You watch them grow and then set them free. So many of our friends have done them and say they are great! We plan on trying them ourselves soon!

Fairy Garden

These are super cute. You can buy a whole fairy garden kit and put it together, but they can also rearrange it whenever they want. Add real flowers or plants, your kids can do a little “up keep”. I think it’s the perfect Summer product.

Bunch O Balloons

Once you use these balloons, you won’t go back! They are a little more expensive, but they are worth it! You can fill up like 50 balloons all at once, and it takes seconds! The kids can blow through them so fast!

Bubble Guns

You can’t go wrong with bubbles, but bubble guns, those are even better.  You don’t have to worry about doing all the blowing, or worrying about it spilling.

Sand Toys

You always need some sand toys on hand, even if you don’t live by a beach. There are usually parks around town that have sandboxes. It usually keeps the kids extra busy at the park, and something to look forward to! If you’re really ambitious, you could create a fun little sandbox in your own backyard!

Spikeball

This game is probably best with the older kids. They will have a blast. You pass each other the ball, but with a trampoline involved. Super fun!

Pogo Stick

My daughter is obsessed with her pogo stick. She started jumping with it and was only able to do about 2 jumps, now she’s up to 30!

Water blob

These are super awesome and somewhat magical. It’s like walking on water! You think it will pop, but it doesn’t! It is super fun to play on, even for adults! The kids will love it!

Ladder Golf

I LOVE this game. It’s easy, it’s fun, and they get to throw things! Win! Win! Win!

Order a monthly craft kit for the Summer. The kids will be excited to expect their fun kit in the mail each month. There are a TON to choose from here are some of my favorites.

Stomp Rocket

These are pretty cool, and would be a fun way to discuss science over the Summer break.

Rock Painting

I know, but it’s fun! I actually really like rock painting. I love that you have this little canvas to create on. We like to paint rocks and them leave them along trails and foot paths. Magnetic Marble Run

My son is OBSESSED with marble runs. He LOVES them. I might suggest to only get one if you enjoy building it, or your child is good at building. But they are fun to watch.

Spray Off Kids Game

This is right along the lines of Pie Face, only Summer style. My kids love these low-risk games!

Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza

My daughter can not get enough of this game! It’s a fun family game and pretty easy to learn. I would say anyone younger than 5 would have a hard time.
