I know that there can be a lot of pressure surrounding Mother’s Day! You want to give mom the perfect gift and make her feel special. I love getting homemade items from my kids and then taking a 3 hour nap. That’s my ideal Mother’s Day.

I also love getting those questionnaires from my kids to see how well they know me! I created one for mom that you can check out here.

I like to know what my kids think of me, and how I make their life special. I feel like those things usually come out on a homemade gift or card. So, although it might be simple, a homemade card is perfect for making mom feel special on Mother’s Day!

AND the great thing is, it doesn’t have to be anything fancy!

I created these simple and cute coloring Mother’s Day cards. You just have to make them your own.

Here’s how.

Homemade Mother’s Day Card

Supplies:

Markers, Crayons, Paints, or Colored Pencils
Mother’s Day Cards printable (download below)
Things to decorate with: embellishments, stickers, glitter, etc…

Instructions:

Print out the printable and fold down the middle.

Color the picture and leave a nice note inside. You could be extra creative and add hearts, stickers, glitter, buttons, etc.. to make it even more original.

Now you have a fun and thoughtful Mother’s Day gift that is invaluable to mom!
