Valentine’s Day Food

I think one fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day is to always have yummy food. When kids are young, it’s easy to make the whole Valentine’s week special by doing a bunch of heart-shaped food like snacks and treats each day the week before. It’s fun and makes it memorable for the kids.

Heart Shaped Food Supplies

I think one of the simplest ways to make Valentine’s day food, is to have some tools handy. This way you don’t really have to go out of your way, you just add a little pzazz to what you are already doing.

Cake Pan

Consider a heart-shaped cake pan or cupcake pan.

Cookie Cutters

Buy some adorable heart cookie cutters of all sizes.

Silicone heart molds

These silicone heart molds are awesome and durable and come in all shapes and sizes. I feel like hearts can come in handy for so many different things, so it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have these on hand. You can make candy with them, jello, yogurt molds, ice, you name it!

Bundt pan

A heart-shaped bundt pan. Cause, why not!? Bundt cakes are fun!

Pancake Ring

Don’t worry about messing up a heart pancake with a heart pancake ring. Make the best hearts every time.

Heart paper plates

Sometimes it’s as simple as buying some cheap Valentine’s Day paper plates from the dollar store.

Waffle maker

You can buy a super cheap waffle maker for like less than 10 bucks that is shaped like a heart! Really I feel like you can buy any waffle maker shaped like anything!

Heart shaped pasta

If you’re already making mac-n-cheese or a pasta dish, buy some heart-shaped pasta and surprise your kids. I bet they will eat more of it too!

Strawberry Hearts

I think these are the easiest. If you do nothing else, do this. All you have to do is cut some strawberries like hearts. The kids will love it!

Apple Hearts

Valentine Robot

Make a cute little robot with some juice boxes, pudding, and some candy!

Make these adorable little heart gummies with silicone molds from April Golightly.

Decorated fruit cups

Sometimes you don’t have to make anything, just decorate some fruit cups like cute little hearts. Your children will be amused.

Make a fruit salad full of hearts. It’s super simple with the heart cookie cutters. I think watermelon is a perfect fruit for this. You could even let the kids help, and they would love it!
