The Bible is full of great lessons to teach your kids. It is a good reference for all the things that could go wrong in life or all the things you want to teach them so they can grow into thriving adults.

One of the best ways to teach kids the Bible is to study it verse by verse. You can do this every day or week. Pick a scripture to study each day or week and encourage your kids to live by it and really apply it to their lives.

Let’s check out my bible verses printable chart of 52 scriptures to live by for kids, so you have a scripture every week for a year.

What Are Bible Verses?

To put it simply, a bible verse is a short division within a chapter in the Bible. A great way to study the Bible is by simply reading a verse and applying it to your own life.

There are some verses in the Bible that have helped sustain me through hard times. This is one of the reasons I am a big believer in teaching bible verses to teach kids (and even adults too).

Why Should You Teach Kids Bible Verses?

The Bible can be a source of strength and guidance to kids throughout their life. If they learn it while they are young, I believe they can have an advantage throughout their life.

The Bible teaches us how we can rely on Christ through anything and everything. It can teach us to have patience, be kind, love unconditionally, repent, forgive, be humble, be prayerful, find peace, and learn how Christ loves us.

The Bible is an excellent resource if we learn how to use it and study it. By using this weekly Bible Verses printable, you can learn how to study the Bible, ponder its lessons, and apply them to your life.

How To Use The Bible Verses Printable

You can use the bible verses printable in many ways. Let’s review some of them.

Weekly

The way I intended it to be used is weekly. Each week at the beginning of the week (although it can be any day) read the scripture as a family. Then, discuss it.

What are your thoughts about it? What does it mean to you? Use the topic column for ideas. Then, answer and ponder the question, or journal about it.

Keep those thoughts with you throughout the week. How can you live that principle? Often remind your kids at bedtime or in the morning. Write the scripture out and hang it up in your house where everyone can see it often.

Daily

Another way to use the chart is by doing a scripture a day. Just take 52 days out of the year to really focus on scripture. This would be an excellent way to recenter things.

If your family is going through a hard time, this would be a great way to gain strength. Do the same thing you would do weekly, but every day.

Put Them In a Jar

Cut out the rows of the printable and place them in a jar. Draw them whenever your want. If you, your family, or someone in your family is having a hard time, draw a slip from the jar. Make it a jar of strength that everyone can turn to.

Sunday School

Cut them up and pass them out in Sunday School for a little activity or as a take-home message.

I recommend using these verses however it works best for your family in their current situation. You can never go wrong when learning the Bible.
